As you add to your documentation over time, it's to be expected that you'll want to reconsider your account structure. We make it easy to move your content around in the way that works best for you.

Moving Categories

If you'd like to move the contents of one category to another, navigate to the Categories view and click the kebab menu next to the category you'd like to move:

Select 'Move' to choose which category/subcategory you'd like to move the category and its contained items into:

Moving Subcategories

You can also move a subcategory and its contents into a different category or subcategory. Find the category in the sidebar, then open the dropdown menu and click Move:

Select the category and/or subcategory you'd like to move it into and click Move subcategory.

Moving Pages

You can move a published page to a different category by selecting 'Move' from the kebab menu on any page or page list view:

Choose a different category and/or subcategory to move the page into.

You can also update a page category when editing a page. From within the edit view for a page use the button on the top left to choose a new category for the page (you can also create a new category from this view):

Bulk moving objects

You can bulk move any number of items from a category to a different category/subcategory.

  1. Click the category with the objects you want to move

  2. Click the checkbox on the top right above the category list

  3. Select the items you want to move

  4. Click move

  5. Select the new category you want to move your items to, and click Move
